What will you be doing?


The People Operations team provides administrative and advisory support to our UK Business and through our focus on service excellence underpinning our overall strategy and vision. Customer centric we are consistently looking for ways to exceed expectations of our people across the business with the service we deliver.

This role supports the Assistant Manager in the smooth running of the team with a focus on governance, effectiveness, and service excellence. You will work closely with other People Operations teams and internal stakeholders and will have some oversight of our external partners providing administration services for KPMG.

You will play an integral role in supporting our HR transformation, with responsibility for identifying improvements and efficiencies we can bring to our shared services and overseeing delivery and implementation of these across your team and the operation.

You will own and monitor the Team’s risks and controls; facilitating actions with the Manager and Team Leaders and maintaining accurate records to evidence controls are working.

You will be perceived as reliable, credible, and commercial with a focus on delivering high levels of customer service. As a member of KPMG, will be expected to always demonstrate the Firm’s values.


You will be a key member of the management team within People Operations and will work closely with your manager and peers in ensuring that the level of service offered and delivered by your team adheres to our KPIs and SLAs

Working with 3rd parties across your area of operation and support the monthly service review process

You will work in partnership with other capabilities in the Firm, HR leads and the People Operations management teams to identify opportunities for driving process efficiencies and improvements with the support of your Manager to develop business cases through to successful implementation

Point of contact for escalations that cannot be managed by the team looking for resolution to deliver a superior customer service

Work with the other team leaders to develop talent and create an environment for everyone to be able to thrive in


What will you need to do it?


Experience in the management of teams, coaching, developing, and driving a culture of service excellence

An ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels both written and verbal

High levels of resilience, with experience of working in a highly pressurised customer centric environment with the ability to prioritise and flex priorities to suit business need

Experienced gained from working within project teams acting as a SME

Excellent attention to detail

A good degree of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and SAP or equivalent HR system.
