Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - High Wycombe

Type: Small Animal

Location: High Wycombe

Practice Type: Part of a group

Facilities: This is a small, village practice located near High Wycombe. They have been established over 10 years and are extremely fortunate to have strong relationships with all of their lovely clients and their pets. They have all the usual equipment including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, and internal laboratory and their vets enjoy working up their cases to a very high standard.

Team: They currently have 3 veterinary surgeons that all have over 10 years’ experience in small animal practice and 4 veterinary nurses. One of their vets is a surgery certificate holder and another vet is working towards her own surgery certificate. 

Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients' team.

Hours: They are looking for a full-time/part-time veterinary surgeon to join three other highly experienced vets at a small village practice. The role would be over 4 days a week with a share of a 1:4 weekend rota (Saturdays only 8:30 am -4 pm) with no out-of-hours or bank holidays. 

Duties: They encourage and support flexible working wherever they can and are in a fortunate position that they could offer lots of support for a new/recent graduate.

Skills/Exp: They could support a new or recent graduate or a vet with experience. Excellent communication skills in a kind, caring, and approachable manner. Full driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred as they do offer home visits.

Salary: The salary for the role is up to £68,000 depending on experience + Relocation support if required.
