Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Personal Assistant to one of the top 5 Academics within Oxford. The role also includes providing administrative support to a dynamic research group.
This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, diary management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, ensuring the seamless operation of Professors research and leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full PA support. including complex diary management, travel arrangements, and communication.
- Coordinate committee work, prepare agendas, take minutes, and ensure timely implementation of decisions.
- Assist with research grant preparation and support on professional finances.
- Liaise with other PA's for seamless collaboration between the Professor's dual roles.
- Provide administrative support to the Research Group, including HR matters, travel bookings, event coordination, and website management.
Selection Criteria:
- Significant PA experience at a senior level, including diary management and complex travel arrangements.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to changing office technologies.
Desirable:
- Experience in university or research environments.
- Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. Oracle Financials) and social media for professional networking.
Working Hours: Flexible working pattern negotiable, hybrid, Oxford, no parking.
