Job Description

Our client, a growing multidisciplinary design consultancy, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director. Due to the nature of the role, this position will be based full time in their Basingstoke office.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years’ experience as a PA or EA
  • Experience acting as a trusted advisor to Directors
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
  • Broader operational business experience would be a plus
  • Exposure to and an understanding of HR administration (you will have the support of an HR Consultant, but you will be the liaison between employees and the HR Consultant)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the MD in their day-to-day activities, diary management and communication with clients, the team and candidates
  • Line management responsibility for the Office Administrator
  • Act as the go-to person for HR queries, working in conjunction with the external HR Consultant
  • Act as the MD’s trusted advisor and representative when they are unavailable
  • Preparation and coordination meetings - sitting in, taking notes, following up on actions to drive things forward and get things done
  • Work with the MD to get the most from each day
  • Proofreading, writing emails and staff communication
  • Provide support/cover for other members of the admin team during annual leave of other team members
  • Balance the needs of planned work whilst reacting to ad-hoc requests and managing expectations of others through effective communication

The salary is circa £35,000 - £38,000.
