PrimeVigilance is continuing to expand and is looking for a Director - Project Management to join our dynamic and rapidly growing organization.
Job Description
This role requires working with and managing group of Project Managers who lead one or several pharmacovigilance (PV) project teams. Project teams are performing contracted pharmacovigilance activities on behalf of PrimeVigilance clients.
- Overseeing project managers in order all contracted activities performed on behalf of PrimeVigilance clients are delivered within budget, and are on time with good quality and in compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements
- Providing support to Head of PM department, Business Unit Heads and senior leadership management, as applicable, in other activities undertaken on behalf of the client and the company
- Line Management of Project Managers including performance review and support development of career opportunities
- Acting as executive Sponsor with Key accounts to ensure good client relations, oversight on all issues communication with clients and ensuring a consistently high quality of work for each client. Advise clients in PV matter - Act as a PV expert
- Oversee management of changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs, Project set-up and maintenance activities planning
- Initiate/lead and implement Project Management departmental processes improvements
- Overseeing the management of Quality Management System activities for the client, as required. Review project specific analysis and KPI and provide support to teams to address risks and resolve issues
- Supporting PM to ensure adequate and timely resourcing within your allocated client projects
- Support the Business/Commercial team during RFP, proposal development, bid defense as applicable
- Expect to travel to meet with teams or clients ( mostly in Europe and US)
Qualifications
- Life science graduate, pharmacy, nursing or other healthcare related qualification
- Strong work experience in pharmacovigilance
- Management skills, including time and issue management
- Leadership skills - ability to motivate/coach people
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication (written and verbal) skills
- Organization skills, including attention to detail and multitasking
- Decision making
- English - advanced (spoken, written)
- Advanced literacy (MS Office)
