About the Role East Anglia Children's Hospices (EACH), are seeking a well organised and self-motivated philanthropy manager to join their vibrant and busy fundraising team based at either The Nook (Norfolk), The Treehouse (Ipswich) or Milton (Cambridge). This position is offered on a full-time basis but applicants seeking 30+ hours are welcome to apply. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and growing the major giving strategy at East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. They manage and develop high level relationships with new and existing donors, including personally soliciting and stewarding five and six figure gifts from donors. This is a busy, demanding and varied role which requires confidence, maturity and creativity. The philanthropy manager is a senior position within the fundraising team and manages two major supporters fundraisers and reports to the head of philanthropy & partnerships. Responsibilities will include: Work closely with the head of philanthropy and partnerships and director of fundraising and communications to develop, implement and support the delivery of the major supporters strategy. Stewardship of existing major supporters and acquisition of new donors. Design and implement a programme of special events with the objective of engaging with new high-value individuals and influencers and existing major supporters. Build excellent collaborative relationships with colleagues from across the organisation in support of fundraising initiatives to maximise income and awareness for EACH, including the Care team, Corporate Fundraising and Charitable Trusts. Liaise with the marketing and communications team, write or commission copy for any marketing material. Keep up-to-date on best practice within the charity sector with a focus on major supporters, highlighting trends and insight that could inform planning and support the team with the development of new ideas and practices.
