PHP Developer
Location - Coventry/Hybrid
Established for 15 years, our client provides innovative cloud-based software for the Logistics and Parking industry. They have three core products, that continue to grow in popularity!
To help them grow we are looking for an experienced PHP Developer with Laravel experience to join their team. You will play a major role in the creation and implementation of both internal and external projects, websites, and applications.
You'll become part of the core development team who strives for quality, exceeds client expectations, and love to push themselves further every day. Enthusiasm and passion for your skill set is expected, along with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet demand and client expectations and be comfortable working in a fast-moving, growing company.
We're looking for an individual who is motivated to learn and improve alongside us, and who can come up with new, exciting ideas that we can embrace as a team. Additional responsibilities will include scoping, developing, testing, and delivering additional features and functionalities.

Medium-term there could be the opportunity to build and lead your own development team.
What will you be doing?
* Supporting projects to realise new product ideas.
* Supporting the continued development of their core platform.
* Using your creativity and passion for technology to support innovative solutions, helping to streamline and improve their platform and the user experience.
* Build internal products and solutions for clients.
* Contributing to and authoring software design specs in multiple parts of the stack.
* Coding new features within the existing system.
* Coding new and critical pieces of the system.
* Participating at the highest level on the Technology team to continuously improve their development process.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced PHP developer that is used to working with the Laravel framework.
You will be/have:
* Excellent knowledge of the LAMP stack
* Knowledge of OO PHP and MVC
* Experience of the Laravel framework
* Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery
* Knowledge of MySQL
* Previous experience developing RESTful web services and both client / server-side components.
* Experience with Version Control - GIT
* Passion for User Experience (UX) and Customer Experience (CX)
Any experience of the following would be great:
* iOS and Android app development experience - React Native
* Knowledge of AWS
* Knowledge of VueJS
We would also expect you to have the following:
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate within all levels of a business.
* Good problem solver with a passion for using the latest technologies.
* Team player, friendly, approachable with a flexible attitude.
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and question information received.
