Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality physics lessons that are aligned with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and reports
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required
- Establish strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning community
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching Physics at the primary/secondary level
- In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
