Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Physics lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and educational growth
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
- Support students in their academic journey, providing guidance and assistance as needed
- Promote positive behavior and discipline in the classroom, creating a safe and respectful learning environment
- Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- A recognized teaching qualification in Physics or a related field
- Experience teaching Physics at the primary/secondary level
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and current educational trends
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and learning
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Valid DBS clearance and right to work in the UK
