Job Description
This leading Top 100 law firm is looking to recruit a planning and environmental solicitor lawyer on a contract basis for at least six months. Offering a hybrid basis, the role will sit as part of the planning team within the wider real estate function.
The role has a heavy focus on:
- Planning applications
- Agreements
- Judicial review
- Advising on environmental matters
It will involve:
- Drafting and agreeing section 106 and 278 agreements
- Providing guidance on legal procedures and processes in planning law
Supporting the wider real estate and corporate team on transactions in terms of advising on planning and environmental provisions and warranties will also form part of the role. The role is interesting and varied, working across sectors and is a contract role to support the firm while they recruit for the team permanently. Suitable candidates must have at least five years of post-qualified experience, and while in-house or local government experience will be considered, applicants must be able to demonstrate significant UK planning/environmental experience gained in private practice.
