Job Description

We are interested in speaking with experienced planning lawyers who would consider consulting/contract assignments with a leading Alternative Legal Service Provider. Assignments could sit within the firm itself (a leading international firm), or involve being seconded to one of their clients.

Successful lawyers are likely to be qualified in England & Wales (or another commonwealth jurisdiction, such as Australia or New Zealand) and possess upwards of 4 years’ PQE gained in notable law firms.

Experience in advising on the planning aspects of large infrastructure projects and retail sector matters, as well as renewable and mineral sector planning matters, would be highly desirable

Planning Lawyers should be able to demonstrate:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales or another commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia or New Zealand, for example)
  • Upwards of 4 years’ PQE focusing on planning law
  • A broad range of planning law experience gained in private practice or busy in house organisations
  • Experience in advising on the planning aspects of sizeable infrastructure projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to start a new role immediately or at short notice.

Depending on client requirements, lawyers can expect to work remotely or on a hybrid basis, but should be based within England, Wales or Scotland.
