Job description Market leading regional firm is seeking an experienced Planning Partner to lead their East Midlands planning function.Home to a number of demanding clients spanning the private and public sectors driving a throughput of planning instructions, the firm is keen to appoint a Planning Partner to establish and lead a planning offering in the East Midlands. Existing clients including developers, investors, retail and leisure operators, public bodies, housing associations and institutional lenders.In this key role, you will take ownership of instructions relating to high quality planning and highways work, advising on major mixed use and urban regeneration schemes, compulsory purchase, Section and planning related land acquisition work. You will be encouraged to develop relationships with clients, helping to raise the profile of the team locally and working as part of a successful nationally integrated planning practice.Ideally you are likely to have ca 7 years+ experience as a planning lawyer with another recognised commercial firm, although applications are welcomed from lawyers who are more (or less) experienced and this is a guide only. This is an exceptional and rare opportunity for an ambitious Partner or Director to achieve swift progression with a top regional firm.
