This City-led, international and national law firm has over 160 partners and 950 staff, with offices across the UK, Middle East and Asia. Their clients operate in sectors such as construction, transport and infrastructure, banking and financial services, distribution and logistics, education and health, hotels and leisure, defence, engineering and surveying, charities, retail and energy and natural resources, as well as acting for many high-net-worth individuals.
The firm has a strong public and private sector focus, advising private developers, local authorities, and registered providers. The department's lawyers offer full planning, highways, historic environment, CPO and environmental service to individuals, registered providers, developers, local authorities, and institutional investors. The team consists of one partner, one managing associate, four senior associates, and two associates.
The team advise on all contentious and non-contentious aspects of planning and environmental matters including planning and listed building consent applications; environmental impact assessments; contaminated land ad associated risk management; wildlife and habitat issues; waster and water management; environmental permitting and appeals; air pollution, noise and nuisance; compulsory purchase matters and compensation claims; planning and listed building appeal and enforcement proceedings; Flood risk management and sustainable drainage systems; and high Court and judicial review challenges.
The team are looking to recruit and experienced solicitor with at least 3 years' experience to join their offices in London. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, highways, and compulsory purchase law, advising both the public and private sectors on all related matters.
