Job Description

The Plant Controller will be responsible for all financial planning and analysis and results reporting, and will provide recommendations to management to improve the Company's performance. Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Inventory/Cost Accounting, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and Revenue Recognition Manage month-end closing and prepare/review journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports Analyze manufacturing and profit and loss variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actions Work closely with engineering and operations to validate the accuracy of bill of materials, labor routings, and cost structure Prepare forecasts of income statement, balance sheets, and statement of cash flows for the Plant Provides proactive consultation, interpretation, and education of complex financial and operational matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business decisions Collaborates with Plant Manager and others to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations, and lead the development of complex analysis MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation.
