Job Description
Mobile and workshop based Plant Fitter - We are looking for a Plant Fitter for our site based in the Poole, Dorset. If you have experience in a role similar, we would like to hear from you.
We are a family run company with a range of machinery that we repair, maintain, service and inspect for local owner / operators, utility, hire and building companies.
We maintain a wide range of construction and agricultural equipment from petrol / diesel small tools to diggers / dumpers / rollers all ranging from 1T to 21T. Knowledge of telehandlers and forklifts is a benefit but not essential.
The Role -
- Attending customer sites to fix any malfunctioning plant and equipment including mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault
- Carry out servicing and general repairs
- Finding and diagnosing faults
- Carry out inspections and maintenance checks
- Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations
- Looking for a candidate who is happy to work alone and within a small team
- Following safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in our workshop and at customer sites.
- Logging and keeping record of works carried out and completing daily job sheets
- Must be able to liaise with customers by phone and in person
Hours of work are Monday - Friday 7am-430pm with overtime and Saturday work available.
Salary: Competitive and negotiable dependent on qualifications and experience.
Company vehicle available if required and can be negotiated

Pay: £34,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
