Job Description
A biotechnology company dedicated to the manufacturing of sterile products with a presence in over 20 countries needs to hire a Plant Manager based in West Sussex.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all production plant operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with quality standards.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulations in the manufacture of sterile products.
Coordinate with the quality control and maintenance departments to ensure all processes are performed safely and effectively.
Develop and implement production plans to meet company objectives.
Supervise and train production staff, ensuring all follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in production processes.
Manage the plant's material and financial resources, ensuring efficient utilization.
Regularly report to the management team on plant performance and project progress.
Required Education/Experience:
University degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field.
Between 5 and 8 years of professional experience as a Plant Manager or Product Manager, preferably in the sterile pharmaceutical industry.
Deep knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Availability to travel to the south of the United Kingdom three times a week.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
High level of english and spanish (oral and written)
