Plant Mechanic / Forklift Engineer Based at our friendly and expanding yard in Gloucester the successful applicating will report to the workshop manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a busy workshop supporting our fast-growing machinery installations and equipment hire company. We’re looking for someone smart and switched on. Someone who thrives on high standards and attention to detail. · Job Type: Full-time · Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year (Plus Discretionary Annual Bonus) Schedule: · We’d ideally like 50 hours of your time per week 07:00 – 17:30 Monday – Friday. Overtime hours may be available. · We’re looking for the successful candidate to start immediately. Experience: Minimum 2 years in forklift or plant maintenance and servicing Have a flexible approach and strong work ethic. Be focused on delivering an excellent standard of work independently as well as part of a team in a fast moving and dynamic workshop environment. Good communication skills and interpersonal skills. Full driving licence (Forklift license desirable but not essential) Roles and Responsibilities to include: maintaining our fleet of gas forklifts from 2T to 40T responding to breakdowns assisting the workshop Manager in maintaining other transport if/when necessary assisting colleagues in maintaining a clean and well stocked workshop Benefits Company pension On-site parking Increased holiday entitlement in line with length of service.
