In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain complex financial models, provide in-depth analysis of financial information to guide decision-making and improve profitability.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, to senior management offering insights that influence key business strategies.
  3. Applied Data Science: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine the company's financial strategy, providing data-driven recommendations.
  4. Budgeting & Forecasting: Identify key drivers in the business and incorporate these in the budgeting process. Create forecasts that align with our strategic goals.
  5. Cost Management: Develop and implement cost control processes that enhance efficiency across the business.
  6. Sales Controlling: Provide accurate cost estimates and financial support for pricing decisions and product development.
  7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams & department heads to ensure financial objectives are met, align financial goals with overall business strategy. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with other departments, like Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Production, R&D, Customer Service, Logistics and others.
  8. Financial Systems & Tools: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance financial systems, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  1. Qualifications: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) are a plus. Knowledge of IFRS is beneficial.
  2. Experience: 3 years of experience in Management Accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector and in an international environment.
  3. Skills: Highly result-oriented with strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modelling and Excel, curious about data-management tools and has experience of working with them (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  4. Attitude: A proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to meet deadlines.
  5. Team Player: We value teamwork highly and have a strong team culture. It is essential that you are team-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in our cooperative environment.
  6. Ambition: to grow in the company and influence strategic decisions.
  7. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders including the Board of Management and the CEO, as well as the headquarters in Germany.
  8. Strong Passion for Continuous Learning: Passionate about learning, demonstrating resilience and a proactive approach. Adept at navigating steep learning curves, utilizing critical thinking to embrace challenges in a new and complex, fast-paced environment.

Working Hours: 37 hours a week; Mon – Thurs 08.30 - 17.00 and Fri 08.30 - 16.30 with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break.
