Platform Engineer Job In London

Looking to speak with Platform Engineering Specialists to join a leading Hedge Fund on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will come from a financial services background.

Key Skills:

• Comprehensive platform engineering and support experience, (preferably HPE/Ciara), advanced virtualisation with VMWare and Microsoft, and containerisation with Kubernetes. This should also include experience with security, high availability, networking, load balancing, and storage.
• Platform engineering and support experience with public cloud platforms, preferably with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code methodologies with OnPrem and Cloud IaaS, achieved through automation and orchestration of cross-platform services using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, and ServiceNow.
• Demonstrable scripting or programming skills in languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, and familiarity with APIs and data structures in JSON/YAML or similar. - Experience with GenAI technologies on-premise using Nvidia GPU or via Public Cloud, OAI, AWS, etc.

Up to £125K on the base plus market leading package.
