Job Description Roles and Responsibilities:OVERVIEWUse our management software to update status of all works completed.Report any additional / supplementary works to the management team.Undertake a range of works from tap & toilet repairs to leak investigations.Installing and maintaining any forms of plumbing.All general plumbing.Emergency repairs.Maintain a high standard of customer service (communication is paramount).Any other duties deemed reasonable for the roleThis position requires the relevant Knowledge, Skills & Behaviors for the applicant to be considered for the position:Behaviors:Be able to demonstrate personal integrity and a strong work ethic.Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.Be able to support the team of general trade engineers, imparting your expertise to them with due regard to technical quality & safety.Be able to work in accordance with the relevant statutory requirements and conform to the appropriate British standards codes of practice. Be able to perform to a continued satisfactory standard.Be able to communicate with your Head of department, supervisors & colleagues.Be able to complete responsive repairs & PPM’s as assigned by maintenance supervisor.Be able to give consideration to the common interests of all colleagues, clients & stakeholders.Verifiable Skills:Qualified to Level 3Up to date with latest developments in the specific role. This can have been achieved by attending courses, webinars, research literature and self-reflecting on CPD and other relevant training activities.Strong body of work experience.Knowledge of (Not Exhaustive):Cold water systems. Hot water systems. TMV valves.Legionella awareness.Central heating systems. Sanitation systems. Safe isolation of the electrical control of plumbing and heating systems. Planning and supervision of in-house plumbing projects. Qualifications Relevant Qualifications / License:NVQ Level 3 in Domestic Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent.Hold a full UK driving license.Relevant Experience:Plumbing maintenance, minimum of 5 years.Aptitude, skills and abilities:Competent with all installation, maintenance and repairs.Clean and tidy work adhering to all safety requirements and regulations.Personal attributes:Excellent timekeeping and presentable and professional manner.
