As a charity, we are well placed to make a real difference to the lives of people in the UK (and beyond) through our ability to create policy which influences and informs. Our independence means we can demonstrate leadership in areas others may not and our large membership base along with reach through qualifications and programmes means we have a significant stakeholder base to help us meet our aspirations.

This is an exciting time to join RSPH. Not only is public health policy and debate alive and exciting but at the RSPH we are going through an exciting time. We have just implemented our new 5 year strategy and developed the performance indicators and plans that will take us closer to our ambition. Over the next 12 months you will be responsible for amplifying our three voice areas and ensuring that the RSPH is a trusted and valued partner in reducing inequalities, providing voice for the wider public health workforce and ensuring that public health is everyone's responsibility. You will be instrumental in ensuring continued delivery of the organisation's strategic goals in the area of voice. Providing strong leadership across the directorate you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. As the lead on external communications, you will work across the organisation to ensure that the tone is maintained across all channels and that we continue to amplify our areas of voice to external stakeholders and are able to influence effectively.

If you are an impact driven individual who wants to change and improve the public health landscape and have excellent communication, influencing and networking skills this could be the role for you.
