Job Description

This Role: Portfolio Support Officer Location: Farringdon - EC1N 8JS  Contract basis - Fixed Term for a 12 month period   Salary: £34,200 to £36,000 based on a 37.5hr working week A fixed term contract opportunity has arisen within our Portfolio Management Team. It is an exciting and busy time of change within MTVH. This role supports our technology department and portfolio office in a busy working environment. Key areas of responsibility include: Extraction of performance data from various formats and creation of monthly and quarterly performance reports A broad range of finance administration duties including the processing of purchase orders, dealing with invoice queries, setting up new suppliers and reconciling corporate purchase cards. Supporting with quarterly and year end budget reconciliations for individual Projects and across the Technology Directorate. Maintaining a central Portfolio repository and Sharepoint site Providing guidance to Project Managers concerning our governance framework, ensuring templates are up to date and documents and decisions are recorded centrally Communication and engagement with colleagues across MTVH, promoting achievements and information across the Technology Directorate through regular communications. What you'll need to succeed Excellent verbal, written and numerate skills Outstanding attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy Experience of producing reports and displaying performance information in various formats The ability to organise and prioritise workload Excellent time-management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines Organisation of meetings including agenda management and minute taking Experience of MS Office applications including competency in Excel Experience of Oracle Finance system would be an advantage Previous relevant work experience in a support role providing a service to a team or customers Interview Diary Date: To be advised Please note :- we do not currently offer visa sponsorship.
