Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced, motivated individual on behalf of a well-established client based in Boston. We are looking for a full-time poultry farm manager to oversee the poultry operations across all sites.
The poultry enterprise consists of 160,000 free-range laying hens across three different sites, within 6 miles of the main farmstead.
The Main Roles Of The Applicant Will Be:
- Manage day-to-day tasks across all three sites.
- Order feed for all sites.
- Organize staff rotas.
- Complete all relevant audits and paperwork.
- Communicate with the vet for advice on bird welfare and ordering antibiotics/vaccines.
- Oversee farm maintenance.
- Cover egg collection duties during staff holidays.
- Manage and work as part of a team and be able to work on your own initiative.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and be willing to take on responsibility.
- Understand bird welfare.
- Work in a professional, flexible, and proactive manner.
- Have a full UK driving licence.
An attractive remuneration package is available, along with a substantial egg production bonus paid at the end of each flock (calculated on the flock's performance).
A 3-bed farmhouse is available for the position.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
