UKAEA is aiming to make history AGAIN with the next experiment planned in the world famous Joint European Torus (JET) experimental fusion device.

The mission:
To co-develop a Power Apps package to provide a digital inventory control system for the active gas handling system (AGHS), ready for deployment at the end of July 2023, to enable operations to begin 31st July. The system will be largely based upon an existing paper-based system. Detailed design and calculation documentation will be provided, along with suggested GUI designs.
This package will include:
* A GUI environment to interface with all functions and databases. All database data is to be stored within SharePoint.
* A database of ~70 inventory locations, for which the gas quantity and composition must be recorded. A GUI will provide a summary screen of the current values of all locations and the system status (locations in use, open forms). The historical values and logs can be displayed for any location.
* GUI environment(s) for ~40 transfer forms (with further sub-forms) to allow data entry and to perform calculations. Completed forms must be approved before the results are applied to the databases and live values updated.
* A database of AGHS standard parameters, for use in calculations.
* A user permissions database.
* A larger live inventory control board and status wall display in the control room. This will be handled by other team members, but will interface with the created inventory database.
Desired Skills/Experience:
* At least 3+ (uninterrupted) years of experience in building canvas Power Apps,
* Experienced in building enterprise-level Power Apps solutions, utilising best practices.
* Able to use and understand multiple OOTB Power Apps connectors.
* Familiarity with and the integration of Power BI reports and dashboards.
* Good understanding of Power Automate (standalone flows as well as triggered by Power Apps),
* Good understanding of Power Apps limits and limitations,
* Good understanding of SharePoint limits and limitations,
* Excellent understanding PowerApps formulas and development methods to develop canvas apps,
* Excellent at estimating work content and achieving planned timelines,
* Strong interpersonal and communications skills
