We’re now recruiting for the class of 24 and have a number of specialist Apprenticeships available in Social Media, Creative, Account Management, PR, TV Production and Video Editing! You’ll study for a relevant NVQ, whilst learning on the job in your chosen area. This is an amazing opportunity to develop a career in PR & Communications, gaining experience working on campaigns for some of our largest clients, in addition to our own internal and external communications! Apprenticeships are a great option - not only do you get hands-on training and the chance to put your skills into practice, but you will also earn while you learn! As an Apprentice in PR & Communications you’ll study for a level 4 Apprenticeship, whilst working with our PR team on clients like Aldi and United Utilities. Additionally you’ll be involved in PR and Communications activities on behalf of McCann Manchester, raising awareness of our great work and culture. As PR & Communications Apprentice you’ll… Learn how to draft effective press releases, email and social media communications.Liaise with journalists and media contacts to ensure our clients gain maximum exposure.Coordinate PR events for clientsMarket research into client competitorsWhat you’ll need as PR & Communications Apprentice Apprentice… Minimum Criteria: Our Apprenticeships are open to anyone over the age of 18 who shares our passion for Creativity. For the Account Management Apprenticeship you must have a GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English and a desire to learn and develop a career in PR & Communications. In particular you’ll need to demonstrate creative writing skills. As our Apprentices will be studying a Level 4 Standard apprenticeship, we are unfortunately unable to consider Graduates with degrees in Marketing, PR or Advertising disciplines for the Apprenticeship programme, due to course overlap.
