PR & Content Manager - London

About The Role:

The PR & Content Manager will report to the Head of Marketing to ensure that content is planned well in advance, designed to work around the aims of the business and with a focus on drawing on the knowledge of wider team members to highlight the expertise within Sportingtech.

This role will involve the planning, organisation and fulfilment of various types of content throughout each financial year, including press releases, social media activity, interviews, editorial pieces, intelligence articles and bespoke content according to business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop the content plan for each financial year
  • Write all content pieces, collaborating with team members across the business as appropriate
  • Content to include written forms, such as press releases, social media posts, interviews, thought leadership articles and function-led guidance pieces, and video forms, such as interviews, Q&As, employee milestones, event activities and customer testimonials
  • Develop content with SEO in mind to maintain a regularly updated resource book of keywords and phrases for inclusion within content
  • Create a strong relationship with all existing and new customers to create advocacy content
  • Maintain a media book of all relevant outlets, updating when necessary with changes in details and where new media outlets are launched
  • Distribute applicable content to relevant media outlets to agreed deadlines
  • Monitor application of content, including coverage of press releases
  • Develop strong bonds with all applicable media owners, with the aim of us being the first provider they think of when a new content opportunity becomes available
  • Likewise, get to know the team members of the business so that you can develop content as relevant, such as function-led guidance pieces, for example a series on compliance
  • Keep a keen eye on industry developments, utilising your knowledge to create highly relevant and well-timed content, crafting reactive pieces where appropriate
  • Ensure that all content is in alignment with, and helps to promote, Sportingtech’s values, aims and Tone of Voice
  • Participate in events where viable to lead content generation onsite, for example vox pops, interviews and walk-throughs
  • Act as our content guru and advise on trends that we should consider for future growth
  • Analyse our competitors’ activities in the market, including levels of exposure and types of content, providing regular reports to the Head of Marketing and developing plans accordingly
  • Ensure content progress trackers are kept up-to-date and raise any concerns with the Head of Marketing in advance to enable any issues to be addressed
  • Provide the Head of Marketing with monthly coverage reports for all PR activities
  • Support the Head of Marketing with bespoke content requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience in the iGaming industry beneficial
  • Experience in the LatAm Market a bonus
