Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

As the PR Manager for Campaigns, this person will drive campaign excellence cross category, covering home appliances, TV, AV, MX, and Display categories as well as lead briefs that tell a ‘One Samsung' story externally. They will report into the Head of PR and Comms, working shoulder-to-shoulder alongside the Senior PR Campaigns Manager.

We are looking for someone who will bring fresh thinking and energy to our PR campaigns whilst deepening connections across marketing and leadership teams with their excellent relationship building skills.

Deliverables will include:

  • Deliver best-in-class PR campaigns, supporting flagship product and services announcements, ‘One Samsung’ cross-category campaigns, Unpacked, flagship TV line-up, DA priority products, retail executions
  • Provide counsel to senior internal stakeholders on the role of PR when required and how best to activate with relevant budgets
  • Increase Samsung’s awareness outside of a tech audience
  • Ensure we are taking a 360 approach to campaigns. Communication strategy will include briefing, securing internal approvals with executives, execution and reporting, working alongside colleagues including but not limited to internal communications, social media, brand and CRM
  • Ensure a close relationship with Samsung’s PR agency – supporting them in navigating the business and working with them to get results and positive impact
  • Mentor junior members of the team in campaign execution
  • Work closely with the Senior Campaigns Manager on measurement and evaluation, demonstrating impact on business and sharing campaign findings with the wider PR & Comms team
  • Support executive profiling with associated campaigns

Key people management responsibilities:

  • Provide clarity on strategy, team purpose and value defining the key areas of focus and direction
  • Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities
  • Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety
  • Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from LT’s and relevant business updates
  • Lead the onboarding and offboarding process and the entirety of the colleague lifecycle process for all team members
  • Manage all annual people management cycles such as goal setting, evaluation and salary reviews to a high quality and in a timely manner
  • Be accountable for ensuring your team are following company processes and procedures; such as compliance, meeting required business cyclical deadlines, and understanding the company values
