What’s the gig?
FINN Partners are on the hunt for a Senior Account Executive to join our UK travel PR practice. Ideally you will have one-two years’ experience in PR or within journalism and of course; have a strong knowledge of the media landscape. You will have the desire or impulse to travel, wander and explore this beautiful world and be ready to bring your passion to an award-winning integrated agency.
What you’ll be up to?
As Senior Account Executive you will support the wider team and work with some of the best destinations and brands in the business.You will keep on top of the media, there’s a lot of reading for everyone here at FINN, papers, magazines and online to ensure we continue to develop opportunities and create inspiring content.You will be monitoring and creating media lists, putting together activity reports, writing releases, organising, and hosting events, selling in stories, and attending client meetings.Hosting media and keeping on top of journalistic needs and deadlines is integral to the role as well as arranging those all-important press trips. You’ll join brainstorms and develop ideas as a team; we are a collaborative bunch and want the opinions of all team members.
What skills are required?
⦁General awareness of the travel and hospitality sector
⦁Enthusiasm and desire to be involved in award winning PR campaigns.
⦁Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
⦁A love of travel
⦁Willingness to build media and trade contacts in relevant fields
⦁Excellent writing and presentation skills
