Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher to cover a KS1 class in a lovely school in the Boston area. This is a great opportunity for ECT's to gain experience or ex-teachers looking to get back in the classroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons and activities in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that promotes children's holistic development.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning experiences.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to ensure continuity of care and learning in the absence of the regular class teacher.
  • Assess children's progress and provide feedback to support their individual learning journey.
  • Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in early years settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Key Stage 1 (KS1) framework and principles.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for delivering play-based learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and adults.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different early years settings and with different age groups.
  • Valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
