Principal Building Physics Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior levelled Building Physics Engineer who is looking to progress to a Principal level for a multidisciplined consultancy who operate across the UK. The successful candidate will join a team of engineering and sustainability specialists in their Manchester offices.

The responsibilities for a Principal Building Physics Engineer will include:

Provide building energy consumption and embodied carbon services across all stages of their projects
Be a key figure in spreading the clients' key values at meetings and professional network conventions
Identify and obtain opportunities for the client to enhance personal career development and enhancement
Mentor the more junior members of the team and help nurture their career developmentThe ideal Principal Building Physics Engineer:

Minimum of 5 years' experience within a Building Physics or Sustainability engineering role
Proficient in industry relevant software such as IES-VE to carry out energy modelling
Educational background within a sustainability, architectural, or engineering discipline
Ideally be an accredited NABERS Assessor and have a CIBSE accreditation
Excellent communication and presentation skillsBenefits for a Principal Building Physics Engineer:
