Principal Civil Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £60,000 (Salary is dependent on experience, considering both Senior and Principal levels)
An esteemed international multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking either a Senior Civil Engineer or a Principal Civil Engineer, preferably chartered or nearing charter status, to bolster their civils team in London. Currently comprising 1 graduate, 1 engineer, 1 associate, 1 senior technician, and the Civils Director, their civils team is expanding rapidly. With 5 members presently, they anticipate growth to 8 by the end of August, 10 by year-end, and further expansion to 20 members by the end of 2024. As a vital member of their civils team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality infrastructure designs encompassing roads, flood risk management, and drainage for building and public realm projects. Our consultancy specializes in civil engineering projects, offering design solutions for building developments and public realm initiatives, from initial master planning to on-site delivery. Additionally, they undertake highway infrastructure projects and civil engineering master planning, including flood risk management.

Responsibilities and Requirements for Civil Engineer:
- Lead the design process from concept to construction stages.
- Prepare and review technical reports and specifications.
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships.
- Develop drainage schemes for buildings, highways, public realm, and landscape projects.
- Design highways and pavements for building projects.
- Execute designs for section 38, 278, and 104 agreements.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and Civil 3D for ground modelling, road, and drainage design.
