DescriptionJoin our Retail, Wealth and Insurance team as a Principal Consultant/Director, where your extensive experience and robust consulting background will be pivotal in shaping innovative solutions for our clients in the financial services sector. With over a decade of experience under your belt and a well-established network of clients, you'll be excited about building out new clients and subject matter offerings across our retail, wealth or insurance businesses. Your role will be multifaceted, encompassing strategic leadership, client engagement, and delivery. Collaborating closely with our global financial services business, you'll lead a team of skilled professionals, including technical business analysts, to tackle complex technology challenges head-on. Key Responsibilities: Ownership of client relationships, building and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders and accounts. Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor, demonstrating an understanding of their evolving needs, proactively identifying new opportunities for collaboration within Consulting and across the broader firm (e.g., Services). Drive proposals and identify business opportunities within existing and new clients to fuel the growth of our Retail, Wealth and Insurance teams ideally with a leading specialism in one of these areas. Manage a team of consultants ensuring high quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development. Lead by example, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture in line with DC’s values. Contribute to internal initiatives and drive consulting expertise. Raise awareness of relevant client/industry trends, emerging technologies, regulation, and best practice. Lead on knowledge sharing sessions, client events, thought leadership articles, whitepapers, presentations, and industry conferences. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Consulting leadership to develop campaigns and respond to RFPs RequirementsKey Skills: Extensive experience in consulting or managed services, within one of the key focus areas: Retail Banking, Private Banking Wealth Insurance (General and London Markets). Solid experience in RFPs, commercials and expanding client opportunities Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and internal teams Ability to drive successful outcomes using agile methodologies A diverse client network and a proven ability to identify sales opportunities Proven experience in Management Consulting, Project Management, Change management, Business Analysis, or related field, ideally within Financial Services. An understanding of Financial Services products, challenges, trends, regulation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences. Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
