Human Nature - At Its Best  Join us, we’re an Investors in People Silver Standard Company Ground Control’s Professional Services department has a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and commercially minded Principal Ecologist for our in-house Ecology Consultancy. We’re looking for a Principal Ecologist who wants to expand their current skill set or a highly experienced Senior Ecologist with solid project management experience, looking for a promotion. Key Responsibilities: Project Management of UK Habitat Classification Surveys, (licenced) protected species surveys; Building tenders and creating complex fee quotations at speed; Producing complex technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, Habitat Management Plans, BREEAM reports, HRAs and EcIAs); Managing medium to large sized projects with ability to track financial progress; Line management of junior ecologists Logistical and legislative problem solving Are You Right For This Role? We welcome applications from Senior Ecologists or existing Principals who are looking for a change. You must have full membership the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management - MCIEEM, a relevant bachelor’s degree (or higher) and at least one protected species licence. A Personal Track Safety accreditation would be a bonus.
