Principal EICA Engineer
Newcastle
Salary: Up to £70,000

Due to my clients successful start in AMP7 in the water market, the infrastructure division is looking for an Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (EICA) Engineer. They work on projects all over the UK and globally, providing their clients with solutions to address asset creation, process improvement and plant optimisation needs.

The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified with an Electrical or ICA bias; and be a chartered member of a recognised engineering institution. Experience working at a consultancy, managing projects, and mentoring junior members of staff is desired.
As an EICA Engineer you will be working on:
LV (and HV) power systems, motor control centres, process instrumentation, process automation and state of the art control systems
Electrical systems modelling
DSEA/ATEX and functional safety
Using intelligent P&IDs, 3D designs, plant visulisation and virtual reality techniques
Power systems analysis software
Using our own suite of intelligent design schedules and MCC design tool.
