Principal Hydraulic Engineer
Salary up to £62,000

My clients are looking for a Principal Hydraulic Engineer to join their talented team in Manchester to work on iconic engineering projects across the UK and internationally. As a team, they specialise in all aspects of fluid mechanics across a wide range of sectors such as water, defence, energy, aviation, cities & development, and education.
Role
- Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input bid proposals
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes
- Work closely with teams across the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design
Requirements
We are looking for a Chartered Civil Engineer with experience leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design. You must have sound knowledge and experience in hydraulic design of water/wastewater treatment plant design, pipeline design, surge analysis, and familiarity with current UK design standards. You must be proficient with industry-standard software such as HADES, VARISM, and WANDA.
