Brief Description

Provide technical support to the Maintenance Engineering team.

please note this is a 12 month FTC / Secondment opportunity

About the role (External)

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold or be working towards and NVQ level 3 or 4 (or equivalent) in an engineering/design/electrical discipline.
  • Experience of carrying out technical support activities, using diverse techniques
  • Working knowledge spanning maintenance processes, systems and standards
  • Knowledge of electrical design requirements, processes and techniques
  • Able to demonstrate, promote and embed safe working behaviours within the team
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing
  • Able to coach, influence and develop others
  • Able and willing to drive vehicles as required by business need
  • Work to a roster that includes weekends & nights
  • DC electrification systems understanding
  • Computer literate
  • PTS
Desirable Criteria:
  • AC electrification systems understanding
  • 2D CAD knowledge and experience, (AutoCAD, MicroStation)
  • Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel etc)
  • Database management
  • PTS, COSS, IWA
  • E&P Competencies
  • Working knowledge of electrification maintenance processes, systems and standards.
