Are you a Private Client Solicitor looking for a new challenge in 2023? Look no further!

I'm working with a long-established, award-winning firm who are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive to join their friendly team based in Ashby.

As a Wills and Probate Fee Earner, you will be expected to handle a variety of transactionalwork with a high level of self-management and initiative. Due to the nature of the work, you will need to meet with clients face-to-face, either in the office or at their homes.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of Wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, Court of Protection cases, and estate administration (both with and without a Will)
  • Ensuring that all client work is progressed efficiently and that clients are kept informed throughout the process, delivering exceptional customer service
  • Adhering to file and case management quality standards as required by the Law Society
  • Assisting the Head of Department with any other relevant duties as needed and working together to promote the department as a whole
You'll need experience in all aspectsof Wills and Probate -drafting complex Wills, Trusts, high net worth probates with taxable estate experience, as well as drafting all types of LPAs.
You should also have experience working in a busy Wills and Probate department, the ability to handle a varied caseload with minimal supervision, strong client care skills, excellent organisationand prioritisationskills, and a high attention to detail.
