Our client, a top 50 law firm, now seek to add to their team and continue their growth with the addition of an Associate Solicitor at 2 years PQE + in the Berkshire based Wealth Protection team in Thames Valley.
The team is experienced in managing and implementing the bespoke strategies required to safeguard their clients’ personal wealth and business assets. The team are renowned for providing the specialist knowledge needed for even the most sensitive of cases.
Expertise ranges from the preparation of Wills and trusts, estate administration, inheritance tax and succession planning to legal advice concerning mental capacity issues, dealing with the Court of Protection and charity law matters
In this role, you will have the opportunity to have direct client contact and responsibility for your own caseload as well as assisting other colleagues on a wide variety of matters. You would be expected to be able to both assist and take the lead on a range of work such as advising on tax-efficient succession planning including Wills and trusts, trust administration, lasting powers of attorney, probate and the administration of estates. Clients will be varied, from landowners to shareholders in family businesses and directors of companies and their families. The candidate will have experience in advising high net worth clients on the full spectrum of Wealth Protection matters and be keen to take an active part in any business development initiatives.
