Private Wealth Solicitor - Birmingham (Hybrid)

We have an excellent opportunity for a Private Wealth Lawyer with a minimum of 0-2 years PQE to join a national top 40, multi award winning law firm in Birmingham.

They are proud to provide a personal, transparent and efficient service by a team which includes fully qualified members of STEP (The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) as well as members of Solicitors for the Elderly. Understanding the importance of careful estate planning to help provide for future generations, they offer lifetime and post-death planning to a diverse range of clients.

Salary - £45,000 (dependent on experience)

ROLE
· Manage own caseload of private client work, including high value/complex probate work and estate planning for high net worth individuals under the supervision of senior members of the team
· Assist other members in the team and wider department with their cases as may be required
· Advise and take instructions from clients in relation to their financial affairs
· Travel to and attend upon clients
· Prepare and file correspondence, notes and documentation
· Assist with marketing the services of the team and wider department
· Achieve set financial and chargeable targets\KPIs
· Ensure relevant deadlines and quality measures are adhered to
· Comply with relevant policies and procedures
· Work in accordance with the company values

ABOUT YOU

Solicitor or Legal Executive ideally with a minimum of 2 years equivalent experience in Private Client law but applicants from NQ to 2 years PQE will be considered Keen interest and experience in all aspects of private client law with exposure to a broad range of work including trust administration and succession planning Ideally STEP qualified or interested in working towards STEP qualification
Some business development skills and experience and a keen interest in developing these and taking an active role in the growth of the team
Excellent IT skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritise
Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets
Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Flexible, pro-active and team-orientated approach
