Procurement Consultant - Defence (Security Clearance required)
Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working - 2 days per week in office)

My client is a leading global consultancy firm and were at the forefront of this growth. Through constant reinvestment and revolutionising their procurement function in the name of efficiency and sustainable procurement they are leading the charge to best-in-class status. The have been constantly growing for the last 3 years and are showing no signs of slowing down.
Their growth has been consistent with the inflow of procurement professionals moving into the consultancy field. Offering fast-track progression and flexible working to support your work-life balance my client is looking to take on multiple Procurement Consultants from previous consultancy backgrounds, as well as ambitious procurement professionals who want to make the move into the consultancy space.
Once you join their team, your role will be to:
- Lead a diverse range of high-value strategic procurement projects, contributing to the development and implementation of cutting-edge procurement strategies and the transformation of existing processes.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and address the organization's critical needs, tailoring procurement strategies to align with both short- and long-term goals.
- Execute essential procurement activities, including strategic sourcing, tendering, negotiating, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
While consultancy experience is not required for this position, candidates with relevant experience can anticipate a higher starting salary. Thanks to my client's meritocratic structure, even without prior consultancy experience, you can expect rapid career advancement. Many of our previous hires have progressed to Senior Consultant positions within just 12-18 months.
