We have an exciting opportunity to join a global management consultancy as a Consultant within their dynamic procurement and operations performance team.



Candidates should have previous procurement experience and any exposure to managing complex procurement projects, including cost reduction, strategic sourcing and development of procurement strategies, delivering measurable results would be ideal.



As a Consultant you will play an important role in providing strategic guidance, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional value to clients.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone in the early stages of their procurement career seeking to move into consultancy. Our client offers a varied and challenging portfolio of projects and clients to work with and excellent global career development prospects.


You must have a top academic background and will ideally between 3-6 years of procurement experience to be considered.


Responsibilities:


· Deliver parts of procurement consulting engagements, focusing on cost reduction initiatives, process optimization, operating model design, and transformation & change management

· Assess clients' procurement processes / systems / people / data, identify areas for improvement, and develop actionable strategies to drive efficiencies and cost savings

· Design and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize outcomes and mitigate risks

· Assist clients in designing and implementing procurement operating models aligned with their business objectives and industry best practices

· Cultivate strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner in addressing procurement challenges and opportunities



Requirements:


· Outstanding track record from a leading university with a bachelor’s degree; MBA or relevant professional certification a bonus.

· 3 to 6 years of experience in procurement roles

· Pro-active, seeking ownership and motivated to deliver work and outputs that are of highest standard and deliver greatest value.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex data sets and develop actionable recommendations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders.

· Ability to work effectively in teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
