Overview:
Talent Drive are pleased to be partnering with a globally renowned retailer, who are looking to hire a Procurement Category Manager, on a 12 month fixed term contract. The Category Manager will be accountable for leading on the end-to-end procurement activity for Digital and Tech.

What the role involves:
- Develop and implement category strategies which maximise customer value for money.
- Optimising sourcing and procurement activities for the Digital & Tech category.
- Be influential at all levels and develop strong working relationships to help deliver category plans aligned to the business’s procurement strategy.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with suppliers, including financial instability, geopolitical factors, and supply chain disruptions.
- Understanding supplier markets for Digital and Tech categories, bringing innovation and knowledge to the organisation resulting in commercial advantage.
The person we hope to find:
- Expert category knowledge across Digital and Tech categories.
- Experience managing software contracts.
- Strong engagement and influencing skills at all levels.
- Experience managing large scale negotiations.
- Ability to build and grow strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
