Job Description

This Top 25 international law firm with an excellent reputation across the UK and Manchester, are seeking an experienced Procurement Solicitor to join their Legal 500 listed department.

They are looking for a Procurement Lawyer within the 2 - 8 yrs PQE (although this is flexible) to join their Chambers & Partners recognised team.

This is primarily a contentious procurement role and will see you advising large, national blue chip clients, across numerous sectors including tech, nuclear, defence, government, transport and mainly health sector clients on procurement matters. You will be assisting with drafting and reviewing all procurement documentation, developing procurement strategies, and defending and raising procurement challenges.

You should have experience of providing procurement advice either in the public or private sector, and those with experience of advising central government departments, state aid and publicly funded projects would be desirable.

The firm is well known for its inclusive and collegiate environment, with fantastic lawyer development where you are encouraged to progress and are not treated simply as a number. There is scope to progress from Associate > Senior Associate > Legal Director > Partner.

The benefits package is outstanding and salary will be in the region of £50,000 - £75,000, although any Solicitor with experience & salary above that level can be considered as there is further growth plannedthroughout 2023.
