Job Description
We have partnered with a beautiful luxury womenswear brand who requires a Product developer to work on multi product luxury womenswear.
You will be experienced at liasing with luxury European factories, with excellent communication and critical path management skills, also a high level of attention to detail, with your comprehensive knowledge of the expectation of luxury Womenswear garments.
You will have a superb eye for fit, and a through understanding of fabrication and trims, with the ability to converse between design, production, marketing, supply chain and merchandising.
Responsibilities:
Set and follow the critical path, developing garments to the expected finish as the designers vision.
Communicate with fabric and trims mills and manufacturers, making the team aware of viable options , ensuring designs vision and budget restraints are maintained.
Attend and feedback to supply all relevant fit changes.
Produce accurate technical packs.
Work closely with the garment tec to ensure all testing is complete.
Flag any impending critical path issues to senior management.
Keep the team aware of competitor or up and coming trends .
