First Achieve’s Engineering Department are looking for a highly skilled and experienced, analytical innovative Product Development Engineering Manager to join our client’s design development team.
The responsibilities of theProduct Development Engineering Manager include overseeing the researchand design team, conceptualizing and designing new products, testing product designs, and drafting the specifications for the manufacturing of new products, team performance management.

Responsibilities:
- Management ofengineering scope of workand team
- Leadresearch and development projects with the team to produce new designs, products, and processes.
- Workexternal development partners or suppliers on product development designs for prototypes and production
- Responsible forcreating project budgets and overseeing their successful execution.
- Support market researchtounderstand market requirements for new product development.
- Identifying the needs of the company and integrating market research to determine the needs and goals of newproducts.
- Conceptualizing new product ideas by using CAD software to design prototypes.
- Lead the testing ofproducts throughout the design process to troubleshoot any potential problems.
- Lead the sourcing on different materials, design tolerances, and other factors to find the best ones that suit the new product brief.
- Lead the delivery product specifications and procedures for prototype manufacture, assemble andtesting.
- Analyzingexisting products to identify areas for improvement and updating current documentation.
- Implementation of engineering systems and controls
Product Development Engineer Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree inEngineering or a related field.
- AMaster's degree in Engineering may be advantageous.
- Previous experience in product protoypedevelopment.
- Industry-specific product experience may be advantageous.
- Good workingknowledge of mechanicaldesign, fluid dynamicsdesign, materials, and quality control protocols.
- Experiencewith3D modeling softwareand report writing programs.
- Strongcommunication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent math,creativity, and problem-solving skills.
