Purpose This role supports the business in developing and rolling out new products, criteria, and supporting materials. It will ensure that MPowered’s products are correctly displayed internally on our website and third-party sites such as sourcing systems. This role will be required to monitor our proposition(s) competitive position in the market in terms of pricing and criteria on an ongoing basis and against a range of defined lenders. Job Role Accountabilities To maintain a relationship with the sourcing and criteria systems to support the product function. Help maintain an analysis of market products and work with Marketing to scope and develop changes to marketing material and the website where appropriate Assist in the launch and withdrawal of new product propositions internally and externally, ensuring all parties have the relevant information in a timely manner and appropriate sign-offs and authority to proceed are received To develop and maintain a good understanding of the MPowered proposition and to carry out ad-hoc research as required Examples of Key Activities Update sourcing systems with product and criteria information Assist in the launch and withdrawal of new and old products Carry out research on competitor products Key Relationships Job Title Relationship Head of Product Direct Report Broker Operations Collaborative working Marketing Collaborative working Risk Collaborative working Sales Collaborative working Operations Collaborative working Corporate Accountabilities Ensuring conduct which is consistently and continuously in accordance with FCA Regulations Always acting with integrity and ensuring all customers are treated fairly. Qualification, Skills, Knowledge and Experience Qualifications Essential Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent market experience Desirable CeMAP Skills and Knowledge Excel (Advanced) PowerPoint Word Experience ~2+ years’ experience working for a mortgage lender, ideally in a B2B environment ~ Experience working on your own initiative and being able to deal with people at a senior level ~ Successful delivery of product solutions in a fast-paced, agile organisation ~ A high level of organisational and project management skill ~ Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to distill a problem into its component parts Location ~ Our offices are located in Guildford.
