This is a key role to support the product portfolio management of 800+ Alvita sku’s across all markets with European brand manager (NPD and portfolio manager). Support the NPD pipeline process from a commercial perspective.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIIES
- Work with central sourcing team and all markets to help build a pro-active pipeline of viable NPD launches on a rolling 18-month basis: Engage with suppliers to understand products which may be of interest to the Alvita brand.
- Bring proposals to the central Alvita VP so that category assessment can be done to identify the opportunity across markets.
- Build up a specification that would be suitable across multiple markets where possible.
- Prepare RFI’s (Request for information) for NPD with local team input: Analyse Alvita competitors in market to understand competitor products, specifications e.g. pack count, size of product, units, claims on pack.

- Stakeholder management
- Works across all Cencora markets where Alvita is present, establishing relationships with key local stakeholders. Some travel will be required for this role.
- Additionally interfaces with 3 non-Cencora but Alvita markets.
- Builds strong relationships with Alvita market commercial leads, category managers, BI analysts, Local Alphega & Alcura teams, Central marketing and brand.
- Sets own work agenda in line with key priorities aligned with European Brand Manager Alvita.
EXPERIENCE
- Extensive experience of consumer healthcare environment.
- Background in Pharmacy, regulatory or Chemistry which demonstrates the knowledge required to specify different classes of products from OTC to medical device to cosmetic.
- Experience in developing and executing RFI’s.
- Good commercial acumen.
- Advanced English language capability to communicate efficiently across and above country.
- Ability to work under pressure with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization.
TRAVEL / OFFICE WORKING
- It is estimated that the role requires less than 15% travel.
- Candidate would be expected to work from the Surrey office 2 – 3 days per week.
