The Product Marketing Manager - ICT Services will be responsible for managing a portfolio of product and services within the ever-expanding Kyocera ICT services and Business solutions. Your role will include the working closely with multiple departments, teams, and stakeholders. Supporting the service strategy and managing the portfolio of products/services throughout their product lifecycle; developing new sales propositions, delivering new and innovative solutions to the market, attaining sales growth whilst maximising the profitably of your area of our services offering.


Responsibilities/Tasks

ITC portfolio: Ownership of the ITC portfolio - Namely Infrastructure, Cyber and Collaboration and Consulting.

Responsible for the portfolio's profitability growth in line with the wider business goals, including monitoring and action plans for remedial action if required.

Business solutions: Additional Responsibly as deputy Product Marketing Manager and sharing the responsibility for the Document Solutions, Content Services, and the Managed Services Portfolio.

Market Research: Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to inform product strategy.

Messaging and Positioning: Developing persuasive messaging and strategic positioning strategies to distinguish our products in the market, leveraging Kyocera UK’s value proposition as a carbon-neutral, single-source managed service provider with over five decades of expertise in business solutions and ICT services, shaping the future of ecoconnected™ workspaces.

Deliver a product roadmap overview on a timely basis.

Go-to-Market: Plan and execute effective product launches, considering target audience and channels.

Work closely with the in house NPI (New Product Introduction) team, to evaluate the Kyocera and partner provided products/offerings, defining market opportunity, readiness and need before launching in the UK.

Cross-Functional Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with sales, and other teams to align strategies and ensure consistent messaging.

Facilitate communication between different departments to ensure a unified approach to product marketing.

Act as the main liaison with Kyocera Europe to jointly launch the Kyocera product offerings and affiliated partners.

Work closely with our vendor/suppler management team to ensure we maximise the marketing/sales enablement opportunities with/from our third-party suppliers.

Collaborate closely with Pre-sales, SOP, Delivery, and Support teams to maintain consistent communication throughout the organisation.

Communications Team: Work closely with the Communications Team to develop marketing collateral and Assets, such as Internal Comms, Social media, Video, Product sheets, Presentations, and Web content, that help sales to effectively communicate the value of our products to prospects and customers and deliver market leading product content and campaigns.

Work with Communications Team and the sales teams to put launch compelling value propositions to the market.

Delivery market leading product/offering launches to the market, ensuring the content is dynamic, current and sales enabling.

Develop buyer personas and positioning for our products to enable targeted campaigns, working with our Campaign Manager.

Create and deliver promotions where applicable.

Sales Enablement: Providing sales teams with Training and Assets/Collateral to effectively communicate product value propositions, and accurate, informative content for both sales and technical.

Pro-active sales focus: Alignment to the ICT sales team to drive awareness, raise understanding and incorporate their market feedback to stay ahead of the pack.

Develop and execute sales enablement strategy for your portfolio.

Pricing: Ensure our portfolio has a clear and maintained pricing strategy, aligned with our corporate goals.

Customer Advocacy: Cultivate customer testimonials, case studies, customer success, and references to strengthen product credibility.

Gather and analyse Partner/Sales/Technical/Customer feedback to inform product improvements and updates.

Metrics and Analysis: Continuously monitor and evaluate competitor products and marketing strategies. Keeping abreast with new trends and best practices in industry, sales and marketing.

Measure the success of marketing campaigns, analysing performance, and adjusting strategies accordingly.


Knowledge, Experience & Skills

As a product marketing manager you will need a strong blend of marketing expertise, including strong organisational and communication abilities, project management, a deep understanding of marketing and campaign management, strategic thinking, and product knowledge.

Key requirements include:

Marketing Skills: Solid understanding of marketing principles, including market research, segmentation, positioning, and messaging.

Communication Skills: Excellent communications skills are a must as you will need to drive understanding, training, and content for your portfolio, with strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey the value proposition of the product to both internal and external stakeholders.

You will be required to write copy for marketing promotions/campaigns and social content. The ability to create content internally would be a key attribute.

Product Knowledge: As our Product Marketing Manager - ICT you will have previous experience in a Product Marketing role, preferably experience in delivering ICT based value propositions/products/offerings to market. You will formulate marketing plans with a project team, managing the product/offering lifecycle internally and externally.

Numerical skills: You will be working with sales and market data and use it to maximise our sales potential. Create reports and share meaningful and effective insights with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work closely with various teams like sales, Pre-sales, Service & delivery, and customer support to ensure consistent messaging and successful product launches.

Strategic Thinking: Developing and executing marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals and objectives.

Customer Focus: Keeping the customer in mind, understanding their needs, and tailoring marketing efforts to address those needs.

Project Management: Efficiently managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities. You will have to work within a budget, meet lifecycle management goals for multiple products and/or offerings/services.

Digital Marketing: Familiarity with digital marketing channels and strategies, including social media, content marketing, and online advertising.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in the market, industry, or company strategy.

Leadership Skills: Leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve marketing goals.
