Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production and Sales Manager to join our team in our Welsh office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire production process, from initial client communications to end production, as well as overseeing wholesale sales activities.


Responsibilities:

Production Management:

  • Act as the main point of contact for brands producing with us, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the production process.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements, provide quotations, and create production schedules.
  • Liaise with our director and lead machinist to develop critical paths, ensuring production timelines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Manage the cost for production, including budgeting, cost analysis, and negotiating pricing with suppliers.
  • Oversee invoicing and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation within the production workflow.


Sales Management:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand our manufacturing client base.
  • Actively seek out new stockists and retail partners, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for wholesale clients, addressing inquiries, providing product information, and managing orders.
  • Drive sales growth by promoting our products, identifying market trends, and developing sales plans.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that sales targets are met and deadlines are adhered to.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the fashion industry, with a strong background in production management and sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of garment production processes, ideally including sourcing materials, pattern making, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ideally Shopify.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
