Job Description

This role is very much production focused, requiring the successful candidate to liaise with customers regarding their order schedules.


While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.

Duties will include:-

  • Receiving and reviewing customer orders
  • Chasing manufacturing and material controllers to reduce arrears/backorders
  • Liaising with stores and warehouse staff to control any delays or lead times of the products being made
  • To produce picklists for the warehouse
  • To arrange and prioritise shipments, via Sea / Air or with customers own freight company
  • To update daily reports on sales / inventory / goods inwards

Candidates will have worked in a similar environment and be used to working in quite often pressurised / deadline driven roles.

Candidates need to show that they have worked in a role where you had knowledge of material movement / lean manufacturing and have previous production control experience.

Candidates need to have advanced knowledge of MS Excel, ideally have an understanding of AS400 / or SAP or similar.

Strong communication skills are a must for this role, with suitable candidates able to lead a team, possessing strong organisational skills.
